Thanks to AAISA for the invitation to present at the AAISA Settlement & Integration Conference! Made of members from EMCN, MCHB, CSS, MLFLab and researchers at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary, our team is working together to understand how to create accessible and useable spaces together. With research funded by the City of Edmonton, we aim to develop policy recommendations and a training program to help service providers better support newcomer families who have a child or children who are neurodiverse. We prepared a PDF based on our presentation.
